Textile & Fiber Arts Exhibitions
A pair of exhibitions on display at Degallery in Bryan, Texas, from May 22 through July 1, 2025, bring attention to the achievements of textile and fiber artists across the state. When Two Cloths Intertwine features works from a state-wide study group experimenting with double weave techniques, in which weavers control interactions between two different layers of cloth as they are woven simultaneously on the loom. The Juried Exhibition showcases the variety and virtuosity of the fiber arts and fiber artists in the Brazos Valley.
All are welcome at the opening reception, which takes place on Saturday, May 24, 6:30–9 PM, at Degallery, 930 North Rosemary Dr, Bryan, TX.
The exhibitions are sponsored by the Brazos Spinners & Weavers Guild and the Contemporary Handweavers of Texas (CHT). They are timed to coincide with the biannual conference of CHT, taking place in College Station, May 22–25, 2025.
